Michael Stubbs (He/They) is a creative based in Reading. They've just graduated from the University of Chichester studying BA Theatre (Hons).

 

Michael’s work is satirical, and political. Their work deals with themes of class, particularly dealing with the stigmatisation of benefit claimants and finding emancipatory ways to break out of capitalism. As well as critiques of the monarchy/media relationship, Britishness and uses historical pop-culture to creatively critique the world we live in. They work with many forms of performance incorporating installation, video, audio, and digital technologies into innovative theatre.
